I'm not a reference librarian, but I know quite a few of them

I was telling a colleague about some horrible mispronounciations that my hubby heard on the radio yesterday. The newscaster called the Disney movie Lilo & Stitch LIE-low and Stitch. (Um, it's pronounced LEE-low.) Okay, understandable I suppose, but then the same newscaster pronounced Adobe as uh-DOBE.

Anyway, my colleague went on to tell me about a patron who wanted a copy of Handel's Messiah, pronounced MESS-ee-yah. Then another colleague dropped by to tell me about the patron who wanted books to help him pass the school bus driver's exam. He was using our online catalog, but wasn't sure if he was spelling "test" correctly. Hmmm......
