I still can't believe I've been a librarian for over 10 years and I'm just now learning about Revolting Librarians. Sure wish I had read this years and years ago, though I had read plenty of Will Manley while still stuck at Con. U. I don't really consider myself radical, liberal, or an activist, but I do believe in questioning the status quo. I like a nice radical change once in a while. It feels like I've been stuck in a rut in my current job.
Some of my contemporaries have published a follow up book Revolting Librarians Redux. I'll have to try to get my library to order it.
